Hi friend! Thank you for visiting my page. I hope you find encouragement here to fulfill your unique purpose given to you by God.
My name is Chelsey Coffey and I live with my husband, Wade, and our three kids in Fargo, North Dakota. (Yes – it is cold up here!) We moved here in December 2016 to start the process of planting a church through the Wesleyan denomination. I am so incredibly proud of my husband fulfilling his call to be a church planting pastor and I am so blessed to be his wife.
I have loved writing every since I was a little girl and handed out home-made newspapers at school. Growing up, you could also find me hiding in my bedroom with my nose stuffed in a book (things haven’t changed much there). So needless to say my absolute joys in life are writing, reading and MINISTRY. God has changed my life in unbelievable ways and I will give my life away telling people about Jesus and helping them grow in their relationship with Him.
Six years ago, I was a single mother and I realized something in my life needed to change. I could not keep going down the path that I was going for the sake of my son. It was then I decided to join a local church and made a decision to give my life to Christ. My life has never been the same. My relationship with Christ gave me hope when I was completely hopeless.
Fast forward: I stepped up in servant leadership at the local church and met the love of my life, Wade. We got married and I gained two amazing step-sons. Right before we got married, two words had started to come up in Wade’s life: church planting. If you all don’t know what church planting is, that is okay because I didn’t until it came into my life. Church planting is starting and growing a church from scratch. Fast forward again and now we are living out our dreams in Fargo!
God has been speaking to me for a long time as to what His purpose is for me and I am constantly amazed. First of all, He brought Wade and I together and I know I am here to help him plant this church in Fargo. Secondly, God has desperately put women’s ministry on my heart. Third, I have a love and a passion for writing and God has asked me to write. The most amazing thing is those three callings can all be woven together for His glory.
I am so excited for the opportunity share all of this with you. If you have any questions, comments, or feedback please email me at: firstname.lastname@example.org. God bless you and thank you for visiting!
